News Release
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has commissioned AEA to carry out a study to investigate peak electricity demand in non-domestic buildings in the UK.
This important research will provide a greater understanding of the factors that contribute to the reliance on peak time demand for electricity. DECC anticipates that the results of the study will lead to substantial economic gains for consumers, suppliers and the energy industry as a whole.
Our initial findings are very interesting however the results would be enhanced by a larger sample size.
Allenergy managers andfacilities managers are invited to participate in the study, by completing the short questionnaire which can be accessed by clickinghere
By contributing to this questionnaire you will be helping to re-shape the peak demand tariffs applied across all non-domestic buildings.
The questionnaire will remain live until Friday 12th March 2010.
If you have any queries, please contactpenelope.roberts@aeat.co.uk or call 0870 190 6876.
Thank you for your participation.
