According to the "standards for management of substances with environmental impacts" adopted by Samsung Techwin in Manufacturing environment-friendly products, substances with environmental implications are categorized into 3 group (20 materials) such as vanned materials, restricted materials, and monitored and reportable materials, depending on materials and applicable time.

It refers to 6 substances with RoHS (Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr +6 , PBBs, PBDEs) that were designated to be totally excluded from products, among those substances with environmental impacts. Those substances shall be reduced or expelled within a certain date as agreed between Samsung Techwin and the suppliers according to this plan. But some exemptions, in case of those for particular use, which are not substitutable, are granted.

It refers to those prohibited among the substances with environmental impacts in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
