Samsung Techwin’s Eco-Design activities include the efforts aimed to improve the product environment through the environment-friendly process from the design stage, and structuring a systematic process to have Eco-design process become stabilized over the entire field of business. Samsung Techwin continues to develop Eco-Design assessment tools and systems, and to effectively deal with EuP (Energy using Product) regulations that comes into effect in Aug 2007, Samsung Techwin has been preparing to meet Eco-Design requirements, and build an internal design management or environmental management system.
