Samsung Techwin¡¯s GEMS (Global Environmental Management System) is a response system to prepare for compliance with environmental regulations, comprehensively managing hazardous substance information with regard to all products distributed by us and their parts and components.

Our suppliers log into this system and enter hazardous substance information on products they supply to us. This information is used by Samsung Techwin to decide whether a product is safe enough to be approved or purchased.

Information collected through GEMS helps us appropriately respond to environmental regulations (RoHS, WEEE, etc.), decide whether a product can be considered for Eco Mark certification, and better satisfy our customer's requests.
